Day 2 of my adventures with eyeshadows, this time I chose blue – well, that’s what I can choose seeing that’s all I’ve got in terms of going out of my comfort zone. I bought this one at a sale awhile back – Maybelline eyeshadow. It comes in a light powder blue and dark blue.
I used the powder blue all over my eyes, including the areas I wanted to highlight. Then applied the darker blue tone onto my eyelids, as well the crease of my eyes. Then like what I did yesterday, I lined my eyes. Yesterday I used the Face of Australia Liquid Eyeliner to line my upper lids, today, I used the Shadow Liner from Enhance by Natural Compatibles. I’ve shown you previously in a video how to do this over here. Then to accentuate my eyes a little bit more, I lined the top part of my waterline (the inside of the lid) with the Face of Australia mechanical eyeliner. This opens up my eye little – well, it’s supposed to, so I’m not to sure if it really did work or not. And the result:
I thought it was pretty good, not too strong, and if I wanted to make it a more night-time look, all I had to do is to darken it a little bit more with the dark blue eyeshadow. Then, I could also line the bottom part of my eyes to give that smokey eye effect – my next thing to try out this week. Well, not tomorrow, but one of the posts this week.
Again, to tone down the strength of the eyeshadow colour, I used the same nude lipstick as I did yesterday. Being the second day trying out different colours, I think my confidence has grown a little bit. A tip I should share with you is – start off with a little bit of colour and then build it up. If you put on too much at the start, you’ll run the risk of having to take it all off if you make a mistake.
Tomorrow, I’m going to try out the pink that’s in yesterday’s Paparazzi palette. Stay tuned to find out how it all turned out!

You do it well – very subtle. I can only try to follow you – I am not confident with the eye make-up!
