You have absolutely NO time left as you’ve been busy with work and you really just do not want to fight the crowds (and try to find parking!) at the malls, but you’re a bit too late for online shopping? I’ve got another set of gift ideas that wouldn’t need you to leave the home either! Yes, you can let your fingers do the walking. Don’t you love technology and the ability to just DOWNLOAD or print stuff off your computer??!! I know I do!
I’ve collated a list of gift ideas that would save you the hassle of having to leave your home or worry about delivery.
For the beauty junkie, or maybe a teen trying to have a play with makeup and beauty products, why not purchase a subscription to a beauty box of some sort? ^Bellabox costs $17.95 p/month for 5 beauty samples each month. Not bad really, and there’s a $5 off your first box too! While you might have gone beyond the delivery date for Christmas, what you CAN do is subscribe in their name and address and print out the order to the Bellabox subscription that you’ve made and include it in card! That way, they would have something to look forward to after Christmas.
Another great idea is the ^Priceline digital gift card. It’s quick, easy and can be delivered straight to their or your email address. Once purchased, it can then be printed and brought in-store for their purchases.
If you’re after more luxe brands, try the ^Adore Beauty gift voucher, with a minimum of $5 (but seriously, you shouldn’t do that!) to a maximum of $500. Like the one from Priceline, this can be sent via email directly to the recipient with a message and a code.
Another great gift idea are the ones from RedBalloon. Give the gift of an exciting experience I say! It’s usually experiences that get cemented into our minds for a long, long time.
I call books or in this case e-books an experience because let’s face it, reading is an experience that takes you on a journey that you choose.
^Angus & Robertson Bookworld Gift Cards – Choose from $10 to $200 for that bookworm in your life. You can choose the value, add a message and even state when you’d like that email to arrive! How awesome is that?! Just be sure it’s not a work email. Or better yet, maybe send it to your email and print it off for them to redeem.
They also have a rather comprehensive range of ^E-books that you can buy and download – or rather buy and have them download. Saves paper, saves the earth and they can still enjoy reading over the holidays.
^Booktopia – This online store also has a range of gift certificates with values starting from $20 up to $500 for you to choose from. Like any other gift certificates, once purchased, you will receive an email with a link to download the gift certificate. this can be forwarded to the recipient or downloaded and printed out to give.
Like Angus & Robertson Bookworld, Booktopia has a rather comprehensive list of ^E-books too! Here are some of my favourites from Australian authors:
Another one for those that just love to read are magazine subscriptions. ^iSubscribe has a comprehensive list of magazines to choose from but, why not make things a lot easier for you by giving them an e-voucher and letting them choose the magazines they’d love to subscribe to instead! It’s as simple as choosing the design of the voucher and adding the amount and details you want.
There are so many other e-gift cards that you can purchase from but to list them all, I’d have to do more than one post, which is crazy! So, those were my suggestions and hopefully it’ll satisfy your gift giving needs this year!! Happy shopping!
