Priceline 40% Cosmetics Sale – My Top Picks

Priceline 40% Cosmetics Sale – My Top Picks

This is a post that’s not usually scheduled to go on, but seeing that Priceline has got 40% off all cosmetics from today, 18th November until tomorrow 19th November (I know, only for two days!), I thought I would share my top picks.  These are products I use, have used and love.  In case you don’t already know, they’ve also got free delivery for purchases over $100, so why not get a few friends and/or family members to shop together and combine the total cost?  Also, this is a great way to do some Christmas shopping on their ^cosmetic gift sets!
top picks base

Top picks for bases:

^Rimmel BB Cream Matte rrp$12.95 now$7.77 – I use this on a daily basis.  Gives fab cover, evens out my skintone and leaves a lovely matte finish, perfect for those with oily skin.

^L’Oreal Infallible 24hr Foundation rrp$29.95 now$17.97 – finely milled powder that’s great for touch ups.  Perfectly great for travelling and even having it in your handbag.

^Maybelline FIT Me Foundation rrp$18.95 now$11.37 – A fabulous drug store foundation that works.  While I do have oily to combination skin, I prefer using the original to the matte version.  Leaves my skin flawless and dewy.

top picks blush

Top picks for blush:

I’ve only got two that I highly recommend, the ^Australis Blush BFFs and ^Physician’s Formula Happy Booster blush, both of which gives you a lovely flush of colour and highlights too.

top picks eyes

Top picks for eyes:

For the eyes, I’ve got two favourites when it comes to mascara, one eye shadow range and if you love an easy-to-use gel based liner, then read on.

^Maybelline Great Last Mascara rrp$12.95 now$7.77 – I bought this at another sale from Miss 13’s recommendation.  Well, actually she saw someone on YouTube recommending it so thought we should each get one to try.  Not just all hype and in fact they are superb to use for those wanting Vavavoom lashes!

^Maybelline Color Tattoo rrp$11.95 now$7.17 – If you’re looking to delve into the world of creme eyeshadows, then get your hands on these little pots of decadent gold.  Ok, so maybe I’m exaggerating, they’re not pots of gold but they have great colour pigmentation, fabulous as an eyeshadow primer for when you want your colours to last longer and be more intensified.  Simply apply the color tattoo first then apply your powder based shades. The ^metallic range is also pretty impressive.  Check out my tutorial here.

^L’Oreal Volume Million Lashes Excess Mascara rrp$27.95 now$16.77 – Always has been my ultimate favourite. Great for those with short lashes like mine.

^Australis Gelifeye Gel Liner rrp$11.49 now$6.89 – A great liner to use either to line your lids or to tight line your eyes.

top picks lips

Top picks for lips:

Finally, what’s makeup without a little (or a lot) lip products right?  Here are my top picks for lips.

^Maybelline Color Drama Lip Crayon rrp$9.95 now$5.97 – I’ve been wanting to try this ever since it came on the market but only got a chance to a few months back thanks to the sale at Chemist Warehouse.  I love the texture and colour pigmentation of this lip crayon.  While it’s got a matte finish, it actually didn’t dry out my lips!  Check out my tutorial here.

^Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick rrp$25.95 now$15.97 – I totally forgot that I had this in my collection.  A fabulous formula for that creamy yet matte finish. They call it “suede” finish, I call it… semi-matte.  While not long-lasting, it does leave a lovely stain behind.

^Rimmel Provocalips rrp$17.95 now$10.77 – Made my faourites list sometime last year and I still highly recommend this amazing lip product.  Definitely a long lasting lip lacquer as it claims to be and a fabulous matte finish that doesn’t dry out the lips.

^Face of Australia Lip Crayon rrp$7.95 now$4.77 – I would have shared my most loved product from Face of Australia but alas, they’ve run out of the Lumi Tint, so the next one on my list of favourites from the brand is their lip crayon.  While the taste isn’t the best, the formula and colours are rather promising.  The highly affordable price-point helps beauty junkies and those wanting to try out their range too.

Those were my top picks.  I can’t shop right now as I lost my credit card during the City2Sea event on Sunday and am waiting for my replacement to arrive.  I’m guessing it’s the universe’s way of telling me NOT to shop, even though I do need a few things mentioned on this list!

Happy shopping!!
