Priceline Skincare Recommendations

Priceline Skincare Recommendations

It happens only once every so often that Priceline has its 40% off either cosmetics or skincare ranges and usually only for two whole days.  From tomorrow, the 28th January right up to the 29th, Priceline will be having their 40% off skincare, sun care and tanning products.  So to help you decide what to stock up on, I’ve decided to share with you my favourites that I normally go for from Priceline.  Rest assured, I’ll be stocking up on a few of these babies myself!  If you can’t jet into the store on either of these days, you can still make your purchases online.  I’ve done that before when I was too busy to head out to Priceline and let me tell you, it was much easier and more convenient for me to just clickety click my way through!

Priceline Skincare Recommendations

  • Uriage

It is no secret what a huge fan of the French skincare brand Uriage I am.  I’ve re-purchased most of what I’ve tried and tested and now will be putting some of these in my cart tomorrow.

Aquaprecis Eye Contour Care rrp$39.99 sale $23.99

One of the only eye creams I swear by and wished I had more of each time I run out.  It definitely helps to soothe the under eye area, leaving it feeling fresh and rejuvenated.

Eau Thermal Water Spray 150ml rrp$18.99 sale $11.39

Great for refreshing your skin after that hot workout or on a hot day, and can even be used to refresh your skin after cleansing, or during those colder months when your skin feels dehydrated after being under the heater for too long.

Aquaprecis Moisturising Comfort Cream rrp$49.99 sale $29.99

The perfect choice for someone with combination to oily skin, especially during the warmer months.  The cream as a lovely refreshing scent and is so light on the skin that you only feel…well refreshed after applying it on your skin.  I swear by this during Summer and it also doesn’t cause my skin to get too oily as it absorbs instantly onto my skin upon application.

  • La Roche-Posay

Yet another French skincare brand that I absolutely love, La Roche-Posay has been rather good on my skin too.  Here are the products I recommend.

la roche posay

Effaclar Duo [+] rrp$27.99 sale $16.79

This is the newer version of the Effaclar Duo that I was extolling the virtues of previously.  Just like the predecessor, this one helps to prevent breakouts but goes a step further and prevents or clears any pigmentation caused by breakouts.

Toleriane Ultra rrp$38.99 sale $23.39

I usually use this moisturiser during the colder months as it is slightly thicker than the Uriage Aquaprecis range, but it absorbs just as quickly onto the skin as the Uriage one.

  • Sukin

Sukin is a skincare brand that prides itself for being environmentally conscious while still providing high quality products for your skin.  They are highly affordable even when there’s no sale, so really, it’ll be silly not to grab the chance to snap up some awesome savings.

Purely Ageless Hydration Booster rrp$23.99 sale $14.39

This is a product I add to my night cream and sometimes day cream during the winter months.  It helps to hydrate my skin while not clogging up like other oils can.  All I need is one drop usually to get the much needed hydration boost for my skin.

  • People For Plants

I’ve harped on and on about the People for Plants range, especially their hydration gel and I will still highly recommend them.  Check out what other products I love from this brand below.

Cucumber, Aloe Hydration Gel rrp$29.99 sale $17.99

I use this hydration gel when I’m travelling, especially while I’m on the plane.  It gives you that instant boost for your skin.  Best used after I’ve spritz my face with the Uriage thermal water.  Now I use this whenever my skin feels dehydrated during the warmer months.  I can even double up on this product and use it as a mask that I can leave on and let it absorb too.

Pomegranate, Burdock & Shea Night Cream rrp$29.99 sale $17.99

The night cream is thick enough to help restore some goodness to your skin overnight, but light enough for those with combination to oily skin.  I usually bring this along with me when I travel, but have since used this at home too.

  • Neutrogena Naturals

This is more a recommendation from Miss 13 who uses their range and loves them.  Their naturals range is great on sensitive skin; something that she has.  These are what Miss 13 usually uses.

Multi-vitamin Nourishing Moisturiser rrp$1499 sale $8.99

This moisturiser is light enough to give you a nice soft feeling, without clogging your pores.  It has been fortified with vitamins B, C, E and anti-oxidant omega bio nutrients, which are great for younger skin.

Multi-vitamin Nourishing Night Cream rrp$14.99 sale $8.99

The same function as the day cream, in fact, I think they have the same ingredients so I’m wondering why I bothered buying a day and night one to be honest.  Need to do more research to see if there’s really a difference between the two.  Okay, just did a quick check and the difference is that the day cream has an extra ingredient – the Peruvian Tara Seed, which helps to boost moisture levels and help prevent hydration.

Purifying Facial Cleanser rrp$14.99 sale $8.99

The formula in this cleanser is gentle enough for younger skin and the best part is the fact that it doesn’t cause the skin to feel tight.  It strips away the dirt without stripping the skin’s natural oils.  Both of my girls use this cleanser every night to get rid of the daily grime.

  • Burt’s Bees

Now it’s Miss 11’s turn.  Unlike Miss 13, her skin isn’t as sensitive and can get clogged if she used products that were too rich.  So far Burt’s Bees have been pretty good for her skin, but I still get her products recommended for sensitive skin as they’re a lot gentler than regular ones.

burts bees night cream

Sensitive Night Cream rrp$29.99 sale $23.99

This night cream comes with cotton extract, which helps to replenish the skin’s outer layer.  The rice extract helps to moisturise sensitive skin and aloe helps soothe the skin.

Priceline Sun care Recommendations

Neutrogena Wet Skin Sunscreen Mist SPF30+ rrp$14.99 sale $8.99

wet skin

We are a totally lazy family and why we love this sunscreen is the fact that we only need to SPRAY it then rub it in. PERFECT!  The scent isn’t too strong like most sunscreens either and is great for when you get into the water too!

And…that’s all folks!  I’m sure I might have missed out a few but these are the ones I usually use on my skin and often go back to, each time every time.  Feel free to purchase via the links starting tomorrow – and double check that the discounts have been applied!

P.S: Links are affiliates, sales of which will earn me a small commission but doesn’t cost you any extra.
