Having had my hair go through a number of heat stylers daily – all in the name of blogging – I have had to find ways to make sure that I don’t damage my ever so precious hair. Especially when I’m trying to grow it out (wonder how long that will last?!). So it was with great pleasure when I received this hair care pack from Silky Colouration; a salon only range that actually helps to condition and restore my hair!
First, a little bit about Silky Colouration, if you haven’t heard of them ( I know that was the first time I did).
Being the exclusive hair care product distributor of Silky and Nouvelle in Australia and New Zealand, their range promises to nourish and protect the hair by incorporating natural oil protectors. The range includes tints, bleaches, shampoos, conditioners, hair masks and treatments. Their range have been manufactured by HSA Cosmetics in Italy and just to ease your minds, they have NEVER been tested on animals either.
The Luxury Hair Care Pack I got to try out comprised of:
- Repair conditioning bath
- Conditioning balm
- Repair intensive mask
- Repair Sheen/Shine fluid
- 75 ml Crystal Serum
Thanks to the people at Silky Colouration, you’ve got a chance to win the Luxury Care Pack that I’ve tried.

Throwing my hair up into a bun is the best when I’m having a bad hair day

A messy ponytail works wonders. It looks like it takes time and effort, but it is really quick and easy.

A messy braid whether that’s your typical french braid or if I have a little bit more time, a fishtail braid.

A high pony tail always works for me! Also, if my long fringe is co-operating, I leave it down to give my hair a soft feminine look. If my fringe is out of control, I gel it for a sexy slicked-back look.

When I have a bad hair day, I simply put my hair up (in a bun or pony tail) and hope no one is going to notice the mess!

I love headscarves, I started collecting them when I was about 13 or 14 and I have lots of different colours, both in cotton and silk. Sometimes it even looks like you’ve added it to complement your outfit, rather than hide your hair

Argon Oil through the mid lengths and ends of your hair, then up into a top knot for half an hour or so (on the way to work). When you take it down you’ll have soft tamed glamorous waves! x

A twist and a clip is always the best. I have lots of bad hair days / My hair gets so flat and over ironed so it makes for a happy head having a few days off and clipped up.
